HUBUNGAN SENAM MARYAM PADA MASA KEHAMILAN DENGAN EPISIOTOMI

Episiotomy is a medical procedure of cutting the perineum including mucous membranes vagina, tissues, muscles and perineal fascia as well foreskin perineum. About 85% women who give birth vaginal spontaneously experience trauma by 32-33% due to episiotomy. Perineal rupture, whether caused an episiotomy or spontaneous will cause bleeding, leave pain increase risk post partum infection. Exercise during pregnancy recommended be started continued for normal pregnant so that their delivery safe smooth. This research true experiment with test only design. The sample was primigravida were >32 weeks had been screened using PAR-Q physical readiness questionnaire. It carried out at Independent Midwife Practice (PMB) Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta in Kalasan, Ngemplak Prambanan sub-districts. Tthe intervention group being given Maryam exercises controls basic exercises. To determine respondents control group, single-blinded randomization out. Data analysis used fisher's exact test. results showed p = 0.045 (p <0.05) which exercise associated reduced OR 0.1 indicated chance reducing times higher compared exercise.Keywords: Exercise, Pregnant Episiotomy, rupture
